From 2-6 July 2018, IRIS was attending the 8th International Exhibition on Nanotechnologies & Organic Electronics & Nanomedicine that took place in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The NANOTEXNOLOGY EXPO unites innovators to bring Nanotechnology, Organic Electronics & Nanomedicine from lab to market! It is the biggest marketplace for Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine applications, products and research in Europe as well as one of the leading networking areas across the global with more than 60 countries represented.
The OptiNanoPro project has been hosting a workshop on the introduction of nanotechnology in industrial lines at the Nanotexnology NN18 event. Co-organizing projects Procets, Izadi Nano2Industry and EPPN were also given the chance to present their main results. They also share a booth at the NanoTexnology Expo. This shows the great synergies between these EU research and Innovation initiatives related to nanotechnology. Beyond the technical challenges tackled through nano-enabled material and process developments but also via inline monitoring solutions among other, the importance nanosafety aspects to successfully transfer the results to the market were also reviewed.
